High Speed Optical Converters

BNOC and SMA-OC Optical Converters provide a convenient way to observe optical waveforms using any instrument equipped with BNC or SMA inputs. Optical signals can easily be injected into instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and high bandwidth amplifiers: simply attach the BNC or SMA electrical connector to the instrument, and connnect the fiber end to the optical source. The high speed InGaAs photodiode packaged in the BNC or SMA connector converts the incoming optical signal directly into an equivalent electrical signal.

The BNOC and SMA-OC can be configured with any fiber optic connector, including FC/APC for low back-reflection.
